Do you offer pick-up from my hotel?
Yes, the beauty of our private day tours is that we offer pick-up services from your hotel in Reykjavík, or any location within the capital area. Please note that groups of six people or more may be affected by Icelandic law which prohibits using larger vehicles within some streets in Reykjavik’s downtown area. In that case you may have to be picked up at your accommodation’s nearest bus stop. Most downtown hotels are within a 5 minute walking distance from bus stops.

How long are the private day tours?

Yes, all our day tours are organized as private tours. You choose the number of passengers (18 passengers max) and you’ll cruise around Iceland with a private driver to make the most of your day out of Reykjavík.

What should I wear on a day tour?
Iceland's weather can change quickly, so layering your clothing is a must. We suggest dressing in warm, waterproof layers, including a waterproof jacket, sturdy footwear, and a hat and gloves to keep you comfortable in any conditions. Make sure to bring a warm jacket in winter.
Are meals included in the day tours?
Your Private Day Tour does not include food and beverages. For longer tours your driver can recommend where to stop and buy food, whether your looking to sit down for lunch or quickly grab a bite before hitting the road again. For super jeep tours that venture into the highlands taking snacks for the road too is a good idea.
As this is a private excursion the schedule is yours to control within the duration of the tour. You can always consult your driver for advice.
What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change. That’s why we’re proud to offer a full refund for cancellations with a 24h notice or more. Cancellations within the 24h window before pick up time will be charged the full amount.
